Ultimately, the decision about marquee size must be the client's responsibility however the following table (only up to 12M width) is generally regarded as being the industry standard.

Please note that these figures do not allow for dancefloors, pre-dinner reception space, buffet tables, bars or any other activities which may require additional space so please increase your allowance, as appropriate. Please call for advice…. better to be a little large than too small!
